I collaborate with conscious leaders, creators, and business owners to create values-driven brand strategies that evolve business from the inside out.
After talking about it for a decade, we made the decision to move to Mexico. This led to a significant shift that my soul longed for, but my ego fought for years—I left the corporate world to start my own business.
For more than 15 years I led marketing communications for public-interest groups, global brands, and start-ups, where I created a body of work in brand development, rebranding, positioning, product launches, PR, and content curation. My career and the money and material things that came with it was my identity, but my heart and body could no longer tolerate the disparity between who I was being and my values and vision for life.
Now, I’m reflecting on two years in business and our first year living in Mexico. Committing to our dreams AND to the greater good, even with all of the massive risks and changes, has given my family and I the autonomy to align how we live and work with what’s most important to us—community, self-sustainability, and creation and contribution over consumption.
I was born and raised in the Chicago ‘burbs. I’m the proud mom of Maya and Max and honored stepmom to Cissel. My husband Lessic of 17 years is originally from Mexico City and is a percussionist, lyricist, and artisan. I love being immersed in different cultures, being with nature, and cuddling with our Pit Bulls Lola and Xóchitl.
